Solvent-based bitumen and tar remover (bitumen cleaner) for removing bituminous soiling and residues from surfaces and tools. Supplied as a 1-litre bottle with a separate, screw-on spray head for targeted application.

Application Area

Sandroplast BituFrei removes bituminous residues and soiling from surfaces and tools. Typical areas of use are roofing work, renovation and the cleaning of tools and machines that pick up bitumen or tar deposits.

The product is versatile and can be used, for example, on metal, concrete, tiled surfaces or paint. As materials can react differently, compatibility should always be tested on an inconspicuous spot before use.

Properties

BituFrei reliably dissolves stubborn bitumen residues, making them easier to remove. The product is colourless and solvent-based and has a typical, petrol-like solvent odour.

The screw-on spray head allows the cleaner to be applied precisely and sparingly directly onto the soiled area.

Processing

1. Apply the cleaning agent to fully cover the area. 2. If necessary, allow it to work in briefly. 3. Clean thoroughly with a damp cloth. 4. Wipe again with a damp cloth. 5. Finally wipe dry with a cloth.

Test material compatibility on an inconspicuous spot before use. For heavier deposits, the process can be repeated.

IMPORTANT: Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas, not indoors. As a solvent-based product, keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Wear protective gloves and eye protection and avoid breathing in vapours and mist. Observe the information in the safety data sheet.
