Highly effective bitumen remover based on special solvents. sandroplast BituFrei removes bitumen, oil and grease quickly and reliably from a wide range of substrates. The practical 1-litre bottle with spray attachment is ready to use at any time and ensures economical consumption.

Application Area

sandroplast BituFrei removes bitumen, oil and grease from engines and machine parts, pipework, workshop floors, zinc surfaces as well as walls and plinths.

Typical areas of use are therefore the cleaning of tools, machines and plant equipment as well as roofing work and renovation where bitumen deposits occur.

As materials can react differently, compatibility should be tested on an inconspicuous spot before use.

Properties

BituFrei reliably dissolves stubborn bitumen, oil and grease residues, making them easier to remove. The product is colourless and solvent-based and has a typical, petrol-like solvent odour.

The spray attachment allows for targeted and economical application directly onto the soiled area. Alternatively, the cleaner can be applied with a cloth.

Processing

Preparation: Bring the product to room temperature of 16 to 20 °C before use and shake briefly.

Application: Apply to a dry substrate, either by spraying from a distance of 25 to 30 cm or using a cloth. Then allow to work in for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the degree of soiling. If required, the cleaning process can be repeated on a dry substrate.

Finishing: Rinse off thoroughly with a high-pressure cleaner or a strong jet of water. Run the waste water through an oil separator or vacuum it up.

CAUTION: If the contact time is too long, painted substrates may be attacked. In this case, shorten the contact time and support the process by brushing lightly.

IMPORTANT: Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas, not indoors. As a solvent-based product, keep away from heat, sparks and open flames, and never spray at people.
